Here goes..

     So basically i'm really new to this. REALLY new. But it's something i've been wanting to do for a really long time and just thought i'd give writing out my thoughts a shot.
     I'm going through a period of my life right now where i'm trying to find my place. I'm a freshman in college and I just thought it would be appropriate to view all the changes happening in my life and how i'm being shaped not only by the things i'm involved with, but most importantly by my Lord and ultimate Guiding Light, Jesus Christ, in a different light, or a "bright side" if you will. He has done so much for me already this school year helping me learn to cope and adjust to life on my own, while still reminding me that in his infinite embrace I am NEVER alone. With his hands on me this semester alone I have experienced so much that I never thought I could. I also remind you that i'm a journalism major and absolutely LOVE to write, so i'm pretty excited about this. Although it does feel a little ambitious with everything I have going on, I want to be able to look back and be reminded of everything i've experienced.
     I hope through this blog that I can encourage at least one person to open their eyes to the plan that God has for them, or to find a "bright side" and comfort through Christ and his word for everything they go through, or every struggle they face. I'm still working on this myself, but I know that if I simply trust Him fully, He will continue to do great things in my life. (and yours too)
